53km Ultra for BW53

Hi, we’re Abi and Freya, and later this year we are running a 53km ultramarathon around Nottingham to raise money for the ‘Barnaby Webber Foundation’. 53km is in tribute to Barney’s cricket shirt number 53.

We both knew Barney from our time back in school until our first year at Nottingham Uni. Barney was always a friendly face who we have such fond memories of, not a day passes when he isn’t in our thoughts.

This challenge not only honours his memory but also serves as a powerful representation of his legacy, ensuring Barney’s name is kept alive whilst raising money for an amazing foundation.

Our run will take place on Sunday 3rd November 2024 and will follow a route including the University of Nottingham Campus, Lenton and the city centre. More updates will follow on our GoFundMe page:

We are so grateful for all the support so far whilst we do our best to honour Barney and The Barnaby Webber Foundation 💚💛.
