Hermione’s Fundraiser at Exeter University supports Barney and Grace’s Foundations

Exeter University student, Hermione organised an amazing event, to celebrate the memory of both Barnaby and Grace.
She encouraged around 150 people to buy tickets, and 10 teams entered the tournament. It was a huge success with many sharing how much fun they had, that it was their favourite day of uni and already talking about next year! This is the first year running this tournament, but Hermione’s plan is to make it an annual event.

“It’s a cause that’s close to many of our hearts with both Barnaby’s ties to Exeter and many personally knowing either him or Grace.”

She received sponsorship from Jubel who were able to provide a canned beer for everyone who bought a ticket as well as two crates that were given to our winners! This helped her to gain attention to boost ticket sales.

Hermione raised just nearly £1000 from ticket and bar sales and the funds raised will support both foundations.
