George’s new buggy!

The Barnaby Webber Foundation awarded a grant for the Handicapped Children’s Action Group to provide a specialised buggy for a little boy with severe autism

The charity provides specialist equipment for children with disabilities, learning difficulties and other special needs. These children, from all areas of the UK are unable to obtain this equipment from the NHS and because of the cost it is usually unaffordable by the families.

This buggy has literally changed our lives. Our son, George, has severe autism, developmental impairment and is non-verbal. The design of the buggy itself is perfect for exploring the rural area we live in. George loves the buggy so much that when I set it up in the lounge, he got in straight away and refused to get out. He feels safe in there and he seems so much happier in himself and much more regulated since being able to get out more. We can’t thank you enough. ♥️” ( from George’s mum)
