£1000 grant to support Abergavenny Cricket Club

Transforming Lives Through Cricket

Trustees are delighted to support this clubwith a grant for their junior cricket coaching and development programme for young girls and boys aged 8 – 15 years old.

“We know Barnaby was a keen cricketer, so Abergavenny Cricket Club would like to thank the Foundation for its generous donation towards the continued life of our programme. We aim to provide enjoyable and fun cricket drills all year round to improve the physical and mental health and wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem of young girls and boys. As a grass roots volunteer led organisation, we are committed to using cricket as a tool for youth development, community building, and improving lives across our town. The support from the Barnaby Webber Foundation will secure the continuation of our junior programme into 2027 with circa 160 children going through the programme each year.

Our best wishes and deepest appreciation from all at Abergavenny Cricket Club in Wales.” Gary Thomas Head of Cricket
